How can I send traps generated from Cat6513 using Catos 6.2.2 to a specific IP address and a specific port ?

Re: Cat6513/Need to send traps to a port

I'm not familiar with the cat6513, but on the IOS based switches use this:

Router(config)# logging on

Router(config)# logging trap informational

Router(config)# logging 192.168.16.3 (use target IP)

The cat version should be quite similar.

set logging ? - will show you all of the logging commands.

set snmp ? - will show you all of the snmp commands. The set snmp targetaddr command is where you set the address of your monitoring station.
