Catalsyt 4006, Supervisor IV and VRRP

Hi, I have a doubth about the Supervisor Engine IV,

Now Can i do logical redundancy the Supervisor Engine IV and other Equipment that is working VRRP ?

Is it possible ?

Absolutely, it is very much possible...

I believe Cisco only supports HSRP (similar protocol, but not interoperable with VRRP).

Newer code supports VRRP. It will be interesting to see whether or not VRRP eventually replaces HSRP.

No currently you can't configure VRRP on Catalyst 4500 sup IV. It is planned for a future release.

Supervisor 720 on Catalyst 6500 does support VRRP.

You can configure HSRP as suggested by other folks but only with another Cisco devices.
