Hi I just recently bought a Catalyst 5505

with supervisor engine 3, I am trying to reset the switch to facotry defaults. When I connect to the switch I get the switch booting up and all the modules in it ok'd but I can't type anything into the terminal. I've tried different machines as well as taking the flash card out but no luck. Please help would like to use the switch for a IP/Data Fiber back bone.

What type of console cable are you using? Sup3 uses a straight through cable for console connection(not rollover like other Cisco devices).
