Catalyst 2950

My customer has a catalyst 2950 (actually two).

When I connect to the console port I get the following error messages

"%SYS-2-INTSCHED: 'idle' at level 128

-Process= "ARP Input", ipl= 128, pid= 8

-Traceback= 801E10D4 801D2420 8022525C"

and the switch seems that is not responding.

System image file is "flash:c2950-c3h2s-mz.120-5.3.WC.1.bin"

I am considering of upgrading the IOS.

Please advise

Yes, try reflashing it. It could be a corrupt image. It might be a hardware failure (which would be covered under your SmartNet contract).
