catalyst 3500 configuration registers

I am looking to configure some of my Cisco Catalyst 3548XL switches to load automatically off of a DHCP/TFTP enabled server.

However, even though I've got one of the switches succesfully getting it's name, IP and configuration off of the server, it's still prompting through the serial port for the configuration dialog.

How can I modify the configuration register to prevent the switch from trying to run this configuration dialog on each boot?

Re: catalyst 3500 configuration registers

Hi,

Try giving the register value as 0x2102, it won't ask for the intial setup dialog anymore.

command syntax: o/r 0x102

hope that helps.
