Has anyone got a working config using CSUF on a stack of Cat 3500XL's using 802.1q trunking on the Stacking Ports with a native-vlan that isn't VLAN-1 - and it working?

I do not have any kit to test this on at the moment and recall we couldn't get this working cleanly in the lab. Latest release notes for the Cat 2900XL/3500XL (12.0(5)WC5) states there is an open caveat that has existed in all 12.0(5)WCx releases and doesn't work (CSCdv50479) and there is no workaround.

Any information regarding this would be appreciated.

Surely someone has some Cat 3500XL's installed using GigaStack GBIC's in a multi-drop configuration (more than 2....) - I need to know whether anyone has managed to get CSUF working with the Stack-Ports as 802.1q trunks, trunking three VLAN's with the Native VLAN set to something other than VLAN 1.

When debugging this and removing the STP forwarding link to the Core the other switches in the Stack didn't reply to the poll sent out and normal STP recovergence occurred.
