How did this happen was it working and just shut down ?

flash could be  loose or have a defect in hardware and crashed

a way around it is put a usb in it with an image on it and boot from the usb instead of booting from flash , that should get you back up and running

fixing the flash issue you may have to log it with Cisco it could need an RMA

Yes it was working and it just shut down

i tried booting from a usb it did not work.

Oh that's not good then it maybe gone , if it wont boot from flash or usb there the 2 options you have, bootloader may have went , is it under support ? these X series usually have lifetime warranty support with Cisco

No it's not under support

i tried booting from a usb it did not work.

Show us the error messages when you try to boot using USB.

This the command the error i get;

switch: boot usbflash0:c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SE10a.bin

Ok, we're getting somewhere.

  1. Try a different IOS version other than 15.0(2)SE10a.
  2. If there is an expansion module installed, remove it before loading the IOS.
  3. If there is a configuration, rename the configuration file while in ROMmon so the switch will boot without any configuration.

1. A different IOS version ? Lower or Higher ?  What will you suggest?

2. There is no expansion module installed

3. Is there an alternative way of getting into ROMmon because i can't get into it?

1. A different IOS version ? Lower or Higher ?  What will you suggest?

Do you really need features only found in 15.0(2)SE?  IF not, then use 12.2(55)SE11.

So i ran the IOS 12.2(55)SE11 and this is the result i got;
