I recently upgraded code on a Cat 4006 with a SUP IV engine to Version 12.2(25)SG from Version 122-18.EW. The switch seems to be running at a higher CPU since the upgrade and doesn't handle broadcast traffic as well. This switch is my ROOT. It has reloaded twice due to braodcast traffic. I know I can probably prune my trunks better to eliminate the broadcast proliferation, however I did not have the problem before the code upgrade.
Does any one know of a bug with this code?

I see that you have opened a TAC case for this issue as well. Looking at the sh platform crashdump in the sh tech, I see that the switch crashed due to the following bug
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCsa78000
If you do not need features of SG train, I suggest that you run 12.2(25)EWA6.
Hope this helps.
