I'm having some problems with my Cisco Catalyst 4006. I changed the CatOS from Version 6.3(10) to Version 7.6(2) because I bought a module WS-X4448-GB-RJ45. After that my Switch is booting without any explanation.
Does anyone have any idea what can be happening ?

Hello,
can you put the output of the ´show stacks´ command after a reboot has happened ?

If it is actually crashing, check the stack. It's possible that it may be corrupted if it has never been cleared. So, capture the stack, clear it, wait for another crash, capture it again, and open a case with TAC to analyze root cause.
show crashdump 1
clear crashdump 1

Hi robho,
I got the "crashdump" and put it on the output interpreter analyzer. The result was:
CATALYST STACK DECODE NOTIFICATIONS (if any)
Error : Could not decode symbols
The crashdump has been cleared and I'm monitoring the switch.
best regards
thank you,
ACL
