Have anyone experience with both native and hybrid IOS for cat6x?
We got cat6006 with 2 SUP1A/MSFC2 and hybrid IOS. It is predestinated substantially for switching environiment (2x48 FastEthernet and 1x8Gbig modules) for few VLANS. This trend us to choose IOS.
But we have already a lot of cat35xx and Cisco routers (3600 and 1700) with Cisco IOS and we a familiary with its commands set.
I try to understand all differences between native and hybrid IOS, but found only a small feature absesses in Native IOS (Catalyst 6000 SP engines data Sheet). I suppose exists many-many detailes, such as IOS bugs, stables, etc.,etc.
What we loose (or gain) if change IOS from hybrid to native?
Have HTTP server in Native IOS same configuration and monitoring capabilities such as in Catalyst 35xxXL IOS or CatOS 6.x with Cisco DeviceView incorporated? Or it limited only to HTML access to the command line interface?
