Catalyst 6500 NAM module and Netflow

I would like to know the similarities and differences between the NAM module on a 6513 Catalyst switch and the Netflow tool, can the NAM module do everything netflow does? if you have a link regarding this info, please let me know cause we are about to decide what are we gonna use as a traffic managment tool...
