I only know CHKPT is Checkpointing but don't know what is it in this case. It may require Cisco insider to tell.

CHKPT EXAMPLE process is a process used by developers for internal testing. This can occur when the following command is issued: test checkpoint
This is documented in the following bug: CSCeb82144 - System gets really slow after test checkpoint commands are executed
However, this is a hidden testing function and should not be issued on a production network.
Current workaround is to reload the switch or if the switch is configured for redundancy, failover to standby sup.
