Having an issue with Tandberg's MXP Director staying connected on a Cat6500. Both devices are strapped to 100/Full but intermittently the codec will disconnect. No errors appear in the switch log, and the port does not errdisable. We've tried connecting to a different port and blade, and the problem persists. We've disable port security for that specific port and no luck. The codec was upgraded - same problem. The codec was replaced - same problem. The codec works fine with a Cat 3750.
On the 6500...
Portfast is enabled, port channel mode is off, inline power is disabled, and trunking is off. Port security is back on with unicast flooding disabled.
Does anyone have experience with Tandberg and Cisco? Is this a common occurrence? Any suggestions?

Does this use multicast protocol in streaming the video? If so, Can you disable igmp snooping and see if the intermittent disconnect goes away?

We are having the same exact problem. We've done what you've tried with no luck also. Strange thing is that in another building we have the same setup but only with a 6148V blade and that Tandberg has no issues. We're using a 6148AF with the one we're having problems with. We've tried with a 6348 blade and it works fine. I'm thinking it's something with the 6148AF firmware (ver. 8.2(2)).
