Catalyst 6506 and 4006S3 Can not support VMPS

I have two Catalyst6506 running Native IOS and some 4006S3 with IOS software want to configure Dynamic Vlan,but the software can not support VMPS. So,which IOS should I choose for software update?

Cat 4000's and 6500's only can function at a VMPS client. There is no server function.

No bug. Support for Server component stays with the 5000 series switches.

It´s possible, in near future, the new cisco ios for 6500 include this feature ?

An excellent question. It is my hope that VMPS isn't being phased out (in favor of other technologies such as 802.1X perhaps), but it's starting to look like this might be the case.
