Yes. Depending on the code (CatOS / IOS) on your catalyst you might have to format this card once in your router platform.

Some Linear Cards for Cisco are thiner and use a different controller Lexar.   If you have ever had a card stick and not slide out you are using a 3rd party that is too thick Smart Modular makes a thiner Linear
