Catalyst4507R dhcp and Layer 3 support?

Dear friends,

Any knew how to configure Catalyst 4507R as below :-

1.) as a dhcp server

2.) can become layer 3 = routing.

Please advise. thanks

4507R chassis means you have SupII+ and above. This type of supervisor is capable of layer 3 without doing anything other than making sure ip routing is enabled.

As for DHCP Server, see the following sample config:

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.99

!

ip dhcp pool private

network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

domain-name anydomain.com

default-router 192.168.1.3

dns-server 68.87.76.178 68.87.66.196 192.168.1.99

lease 3
