Is there a CatOS equivalent of the IOS 'sh snmp mib' to display supported oid's for a given system ?

No, but you can use the mii@external.cisco.com automated email alias from http://jaguar.ir.miami.edu/~marcus/snmptrans.html which works just well for CatOS images too.

sorry, you've lost me there.
How does an email alias help me when on the command line trying to query my switch as to the MIB variables it supports ?
I think we may be at cross purposes.

Basically, it works just like the CCO MIB Locator Tool and will tell you what MIBs are present in the CatOS image that your switch is running since this is no show snmp mib command in CatOS. Try it to see how it works.
