CatOS vs Native IOS failover response times on 6500?
A question for the folks running Native IOS on their 6500 platforms: At one time there was a disparity on how quickly the redundant Sup / MSFC would initialize and take over on the 6500s running native IOS vs CatOS. The Native IOS took significantly longer to come up versus a similar blade running CatOS. Has this issue been resolved in the Release 12.1(11b)E4? The environment is redundant 6513s, each with dual SupII w/ MSFC2 and PFC2. Thank in advance.

RPR is same as EHSA and all modules reset. You need get RPR+ to get better Failover times, modules are not reset. it saves lot of time. As mentioned earlier, we would support stateful failover in the coming releases for native IOS
