CDP across ATM and Frame Relay

Hi,

How to manage such a network using CiscoWorks?

We've got remote location connected as follow:

C7200 ATM pvc to a non cisco ATM-switch, this ATM switch got

an Frame-Relay interface to connect to remote 3600 Cisco routers.

Is there a way to carry CDP from the 7200 to the 3600. Other suggestions

how to managed such an environment are welcome.

In order for Campus to discover the network, CDP/ILMI need to b running on the devices, other wise the discovery will not work.

I had the same problem in my customer's network. It turned out in the IOS documentation that CDP is not supported over ATM pvc's/interfaces. You will have to add a seed device for each remote site.

CDP works over our ATM Elan intefaces, however.
