CDP/ISL not crossing a wireless link

I've connected two 3550 via two wireless bridges, afther that any cdp packet stopped to cross the link.

This happen also with an ISL trunk between the two switches. It doesn't work.

Re: CDP/ISL not crossing a wireless link

If you have two 3550 connected via two wireless bridges then you will see the directly connected bridge in the show CDP, not the opposite switch (NB: if the bridges are 340 bridges --> they don't support CDP).

Two 3550 directly connected with an ISL trunk will exchange CDP packets on the management VLAN, ie VLAN1 by default (unless CDP is disabled on the switches).

Re: CDP/ISL not crossing a wireless link

CDP and ISL are Cisco proprietary. Possible that the wireless bridge absorbs them to CPU rather than flood.
