Anybody knows if the 2610 is capable of doing CEF. How much memory and what IOS do I need?
Thank you,

IP feature set is enough to support CEF. A min IOS version of 12.0(1)T would be needed from the IP feature set to run CEF. 12.0(1)T IP feature set, would require, 16 MB flash, 4 MB ram. 2610 is capable of running CEF.
The above are just the min requirements for running CEF on 2610. Any IOS above this version should support CEF.

Here is the best link for "CEF on 2600 routers" which has all the details about it. Locate cef switching.

For ios support, you can find it by yourself..
For that you need to use the "feature nevigator" to see what is the minimum release a featuer like cef is supported on a platform. You will see that at
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/FeatureNav/FN.pl
Click on "feature" and then on "C" and locate CEF/dCEF and "add" and continue. Once the result is diaplayed, you can select platform as well to get the min release.
