Changing PCMCIA Flash card for Cisco 1600 Router

Dear All

I have a customer that want to change the pcmcia flash card from its cisco 1600 router to a bigger capacity card. Is it possible that when the router is online I copy the IOS file from the current card to tftp server than replace the card with the new one and then copy back the file again from the tftp server. And then If the card is non hotplugable is there any other way to do it.

The card is hotplugable. You can do it the way you describe or you could just download the IOS again from CCO to your TFTP server.
