checking the actual bandwidth

hi,

We r having a 2mbps leased line from a service provider, and

I want to check the actual bandwidth we are getting. Is there any

method or any command,so that I can check it from my router.?

I have gone to some sites which do bandwidth checking, but is

it reliable?

Thanks in advance..

Re: checking the actual bandwidth

You should be able to check your actual bw with "show interface". If you send enough traffic for a few minutes, you should be able to see the input/output rates.
