Cicso 4000 & Baynetworks Accelar 2000

Hi,

We have a ”small” department in London and until now they have used a BayNetwoks Accelar 2000 switch. Now (because we are using Cisco H.W. in the hole Corporate) we want to integrate a Cisco 4000 to work with the old one.

My question is, is it possible to configure both switches (Cisco 4000 and Accelar 2000) to have 4 port in each switch in a channel ?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Constantin Duce

Cisco Catalyst 4000 with SupI/II can do 802.3ad (link aggregation IEEE spec). If the Bay supports it as well, you will be able have a channel between them. If you are planning on using SupIII with the Cat4k, 802.3ad will not be supported until later this summer.
