Cisco 1700 Series Router Boot Issue

I have a 1700 series router that gives me the error message "Insufficient memory to boot the image" when it is rebooted. I searched all over the WEB for a solution. Does anyone have an answer on how to fix this problem. Thanks in Advance!

Did you down load a new image ?

How much memory in the device ?

Double check your memory requrements for the image you are trying to load.

Vince is quite right. I use a lot of 1700s and units purchased as recently as a few months ago with the "standard" 8/24 Meg of memory will not support 12.2 code. I think you need at least 8/32 for just run-of-the-mill 12.2 code and even more for certain feature packs.
