Cisco 1841 SGHDSL and ADSL

I am proposing for a customer to buy a Cisco 1841 with Advanced IOS with 2 WIC cards, one for SDSL main pipe and a second WIC card for ADSL backup. I would like them to load balance in normal use and switch over to either if one fails. Is this possible and whats the best way of doing it? Static routes?

Re: Cisco 1841 SGHDSL and ADSL

You already know the answer!

The best way to go is with a static route. The router will load balance accross equal cost paths.

Since a static route has a cost of 1 or out an interface a cost of 0. When the interface goes down the route will be removed from the routing table.
