I need to access the console port on the switch but looks I need to convert the rj45 cable end to a db9 on the switch side. tried the same converter used on the terminal end w/ no success. looking for the pinouts I guess to make a rj45 to db9 converter on the switch side.
got a null modem cable (not adapter) and no connection. used terminal adapter on both sides w/ crossover and got ATQ0Z0 on terminal. changed to straight thru, baud and terminal settings to improvement. any more ideas? appreciate your help.
