I have a Cisco 2522 at one of our HQ. This router is then linked to our main HQ router (3660) using a 128Kbps lease circuit connected to Serial 0 of 2522. We recently upgrade the link to 1,024Kbps(1 meg) and since then the link goes up and down. Log into the router and found out a lot of carrier transsions. Call the Teleco guys and they said the link is OK.
I have read on the specs of the router that serial 0 and 1 can take up high speed connections. What is the maximum speed the interface can take ?
I ask the Telco guys to put the link back to 128K and it seems to stabilise now.
I have send a 1751 router to that office and will change the connection. The 1Meg link will then connect to the 1751 instead of the 2522 so that I can isolate it.

This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
