Cisco 2600 - Is TFTPDNLD a valid option of a frame-relay network ?

Is TFTPDNLD a valid option of a frame-relay network ? In other words, can ROMMON figure out how to use frame-relay to encapsulate ?

I am tring to find an alternative solution to copy IOS to flash. Currently I am using xmodem to copy IOS to flash.

The state of the router is in ROMMON and no valid IOS in flash to boot.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In ROMMON mode, the ONLY interface that is active is the built in (Ethernet or Token Ring) interface.

The wic or NM interfaces are not active.

I can't think of a procedure that would help.

Doug
