This is an output of the show version command

2600>show version

cisco 2620 (MPC860) processor (revision 0x200) with

59392K/6144K bytes of memory.

32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.

16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

Now the router has 64MB of ram istalled

If I add up the two values it does not match 64mb

Can any one explain

cheers

Hello Per,

you are right about the numbers, the values are actually calculated as following:

58 x 1024 = 59392

6 x 1024 = 6144

Total: 65536

So actually 6MB is 6144K, and 58MB is 59392K...
