I have a 2600 router that will be replacing an old Novell server, so it will have to route ipx as well. When I tried to enable ipx routing by entering ipx route, the system reponded by puting the carot (I think?) under the x in ipx and then the standard "Invalid Input" Error message
Does this mean ipx capability is not installed ? How do I check to see if it is installed? If not how do I install it?
Thanks

sounds like your operating system is for IP only. Routing IPX requres the desktop feature set.
take a look at the filename in flash, if the middle characters don't say ins, if its just i, then you have ip only. you will need to order a feature set upgrace from cisco.

Well I found the CD that includes the feature set. Can anyone point me to some quick instructions on Cisco's site while I look through the documentation? Preferrably I would like to keep the configuration intract but if I cannot do this that is ok, the router is not in production yet.
