Cisco 2621 reload the ios continuously

I have a Cisco 2621 that is reload continuously the IOS with the message system *** received a Bus Error Exception ***

Can anybody help me to gain again the control of the router ?

Was this router working fine before ? Did you do any recent IOS upgrades on the router ? If yes what version of IOS. Are there any hardware modules/wics on the router ? If yes, what all?

Are you getting the bus error after the IOS decompresses in full or before ?

IOS version is 12.1

It has VWIC-2MFT-G.703 module and the bus error is present after IOS decompresses,

When did this Bus error start ? Was it before using the VWIC or after ?

If your VWIC was added recently and the bus errors started after that, then probably it could be due to an IOS compatibility issue. Try removing the WIC and see if the router boots properly.

If you did a software upgrade recently, on the router, then check to see if the IOS is compatible with the hardware you are using.

The router works fine in this configuration for more than one year.
