Cisco 2621XM

Hello,

I have one cisco 2621XM (with 2 fastethernet interfaces) and need to add more 2 fast ethernet interfaces.

I have one aditional "2 10/100 Ethernet 2 WAN Card Slot Network Module" (NM-2FE2W), but supposedly, this router don't support the module NM-2FE2W since the free slot is AIM and not NM. It this correct?

It has another module with 2 FE ports that can be installed in 2621XM router?

Hello,

you are right, the NM-1FE2W is not supported on the 2621XM. In fact, with regard to FastEthernet ports, it only supports the two onboard FastEthernet ports. If you need extra Ethernet ports, you can only get the NM-2E and the NM-4E, with 2 and 4 additional Ethernet ports, respectively. As far as I know, the AIM is internal and does not influence wether or not you can use another NM in the free slot (you can use, as an example, the NM-4T/4-port Serial Network Module in the free slot).

So, i can only add 10Mbps Ethernet ports, and can't add more 100Mbps fast ethernet ports to the cisco 2621XM, right?

exactly, two FastEthernet ports are the maximum the 2621XM supports.
