cisco 3600 router for dial-in

hello,

we have a CISCO 3600 router (FE-PRI 1FE-2CE1-B/U) for dial-in to our collegues who would like to work from home.

i ordered ISDN PRI for this purpose. the router is configured by a collegue of mine remotely.

so my question is: how should the ISDN PRI connected to the router?

now there is a DB-15 at the end of the cable like this:

pin signal

9 tx tip

2 tx ring

8 rx tip

15 rx ring

and it's directly connected to the router on ctrlr1.

when i call the number it's busy or even out of service. the line was measured, tested so it works. the problem could be with the connection, i think.

could anybody tell me please how should the router be connected to the ISDN PRI?

many thanks. Csilla

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive trouble-shooting session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.
