Cisco 3640 analogue modem

I'm using a cisco 3640 to allow remote access to our network over ISDN and analogue lines. While the ISDN aspect of it is working fine, when an analogue user dials in, he/she cannot dial in the first time. It only works on the second connection attempt. I've dialled the number from a desktop phone and it's the same problem. It rings out on first attempt, then dials in on second one.

Any suggestions?

Re: Cisco 3640 analogue modem

Could you upload the output of the command: sh modem ?

Could you also do a deb modem for this sequence? (one call failing and the next one being answered)
