Cisco 3640 and NM-8AM module config

I have a 3640 with an NM-8AM. I have four analog lines that I am going to plug directly into this module for my dial-in users. Can I assign a block of IP addresses from my E0 interface for the dial-in pool, or does this have to be a separate subnet? Do you have any sample configs for the NM-8AM module?

Yes it is possible.

first you will have to check which lines on the router to bind .

to understand the line numbering, you can chack the following URL.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_mod/cis2600/net_mod2/coanalog.htm#xtocid99233

Second, you can configure the 'interface group-async x' where you will be with the following command able to bind several lines :

group-range x y

you can check commands and samples on this following URL link :

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_mod/cis2600/software/config.htm#xtocid417125

You can defined on this interface the following command to save Ip address' :

IP unnumbered e0
