We have cisco3640 router which is loaded with IPv6 flash image, suddenly it went off the network and when we switch OFF/ON its console come up with "rmon1>" prompt, then again we loaded the Ipv6 image "c3640-is-mz.122-2.T.bin" (previous image was also same) and gave "reload" command, its rebooted and start giving some junk massages and start behaving erratic. We did the configuration in same condition and after saving the configuration to NVRAM we OFF/ON once again and now it is not giving any console massage and some ASCII character appears at console screen. Please can some one guide us what could be wrong in our router.

Or mail me at "kraj@india.hp.com".

It is likely that the boot statement in your configuration still points to the old IOS. The following document outlines ROMmon Recovery for the Cisco 3600 Series Router and will walk you through solving this issue:

Use the 'no logging console'-command.

My experience is that too much logging to the console can make the router reload itself (CPU-overload!?!?!)
