cisco 3745 router flash memory

Hi All,

I hv a cisco 3745 router shipped with default (base)32MB compact flash memory (Internal).

I want to upgrade the memory to 64MB can I install external 32MB compact Flash card or I need to replace the Internal 32MB flash card with 64 MB flash card (Internal).

i.e, can i use compact flash (Internal+External) to upgrade total memory to 64MB.

regards

Deepak

No. The internal & external memory is seen as two seperate devices, Slot0: & Flash:

If you need 64MB you have to install a 64MB CF card internally or externally.

See link below:

Cheers
