Cisco 3750 not entering 'Express Setup'

Hi there, wonder if anyone has seen this one?

I've a box fresh 3750, no config, and I'm following the instructions for starting the 'Express Setup' process.

The switch starts as normal, successful POST: but when I hold the 'mode' switch in, as indicated, I don't get the 4 LED's above it lighting up, as expected. The next steps fail as well: it's not becoming a DHCP server, as expected.

There's no config on it that I can see- as I said, it's just out of the box.

It's no biggie, as I can do it from the cli, but I'm just curious- am I doing something wrong?

Express Setup is supported on switches running Cisco IOS Release 12.1(14)EA1 or later.
