Cisco 3750 using web

I have a Cisco 3750 switch loaded with 12.1.19-EA1d Catalyst 3750 SMI Image Installed. When i browse through the browser and give in the password i am taken to a page which has web console option. When i click on that option it is going to http://x.x.x.x1/homepage.htm and displays an error message Page could not be found. Is there any additional software i need to install like the sdm for routers? for browsing the switch through web?

Thanks in Advance

Re: Cisco 3750 using web

You might need java plugin for your switch. Try to download and load it into your switch. Or upgrading to next higher IOS or CatOS version will be helpful. This problem even possible with Local IE settings like to enable Java VM to solve it.

Re: Cisco 3750 using web

If your running that image, I'm assuming you upgraded recently. Did you upgrade using the ".bin" image or the ".tar" image? If you did it using the ".bin" image, I'd recommend going back and doing it again with the ".tar" image and using the "archive download-sw" command to do so. The 3750's are a bit particular about how they're upgraded and using that command vs. the "copy tftp flash" tends to work much better!

Re: Cisco 3750 using web

I was able to figure out the problem. I did not extract the tar image. Then i extracted and made that as the boot image and it worked fine.

Thanks for your response

Re: Cisco 3750 using web

SDM doesn't support 3750 switch

For List of supported routers etc by sdm tool , you can refer on the following link
