3(errors) 4(warnings) 5(notifications)
6(information) 7(debugging)" so how do i see these messages indivudually?

Hello,
The show logging command shows the configured logging levels (0 - 7 (emergencies - debugging)).
If you need to know what specific logging messages match to which logging levels then you can check the system message guide for your appropriate version of CatOS (e.g. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat6000/sw_6_3/msg__gd/smg_6_3.pdf)
Hope this helps.

James

The answer from James is good about logging levels and what messages are what level. But I believe that the original question really is asking how to see the individual messages.
Try the command show log buff
