Hi,

i have got cisco 6509, in that how do i see the temperature status? because recently when there is a power down on the server room for more than 3 hrs, cisco 6509 temperature has exceed more than 40C, so that all the LED's in the sup2 has become AMPER indications, so when i went & saw the log, it has displaed temperature exceeded the maximum threshold & current temp. 50C. so how do i see the current temperature in the cisco 6509 & also how do i change the threshold value of the temperature?

Hi Anand,

To check the temp status on cat6k switch just run the command

sh env all

to be more specific

sh env temperature

Have a look at this link for more details

AFAIK you cannot change the threshold value.

HTH, if yes please rate the post.
