CISCO 7200 VXR needs reload to work

Hi ,

I have got a cisoc 7200 vxr router with two fast ethernet interfaces enabled .All it does is simple routing .Show version is

There are many possible causes for a router to stop responding. You shoud have a terminal connected to the routers console port and capture the messages that appear on the console when the router stops forwarding packets.

You could also feed the output from the router command "show tech" into a CCO troubleshooting tool called Output Interpreter, https://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/OutputInterpreter/home.pl, which can help you determine some possible causes and remedies for your problem.

You can also post the console messages and I can have a look.

Another good ideea is to upgrade the router to the latest version of IOS on CCO.

There are a number of good troubleshooting links on CCO which can help you deal with this problem:
