Hi All,

Does Cisco 7606 GigabitEthernet modules support stacked VLAN (two VLAN tags)?

If yes, how do I configure it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sarah

Are you refering to QinQ tunneling? If so, this is probably a limitation on the Sup that you are running. What sup do you have?

Hi Sean,

Yes, it is QinQ tunneling. I am using Cat6k-Sup720.

Hi Sarah,

Yes, this platform certainly supports QinQ.

Here is the config guide for the feature.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat6000/12_1e/swconfig/dot1qtnl.htm

Some modules do not support the feature, and those are listed in the above doc.

Hi Bobby,

Thank you very much for the link.

The following is my config.

SUT === Cisco --- Traffic Generator #1

|

Traffic Generator #2

SUT: System Under Test

LACP is enabled between the Cisco and the SUT.

Traffic Generator #1 sends multicast traffic

with VLAN tag through Cisco to the SUT.

Traffic Generator #2 sends stacked VLAN (QinQ)

traffic through Cisco to the SUT. So Cisco is

expected to pass through all the traffic (with

one or two VLAN tags).

Currently, I don't even see any frame count

at the Cisco interface which is connected to

the Traffic Generator #2.

Regards,

Sarah
