I used access lists with time range and everything works fine. When I reload the router I found out that nothing works because the time and date are reset to the factory ones(some date in 1993). How can I make the time and date to be saved.

thanks

Re: cisco 801

Hi, as far as I know, there is no way to protect the date/time on the low end routers through a power cycle. There is no onboard battery backed RTC to maintain the settings.

You could use an NTP server to restore you clock settings on boot up.
