Cisco 803 DHCP server problem with manual IP's

Dear Forum!

I have configured in my Cisco LAN with an 803 Router and an 1950 Switch an DHCP Server on the Router. I receive an IP from the configured pool, but as when I configure a host pool with the hardware address of my clients network card, I still just get one IP out of my dynamic pool. I am using (at least I think) the right media type (01 for ethernet) and I also compared the hardware address on my cisco dhcp server: when I get one of the pool addresses, it shows my MAC address.

This is my host config:

ip dhcp pool chris

host 192.168.13.13 255.255.255.0

hardware-address 0100.00e2.5df3.49

default-router 192.168.13.1

dns-server 195.3.96.67 195.3.96.68

client-name hoelzl

lease 0 7

My ios version: IOS

C800 Software (C800-NSY6-MW), Version 12.0(7)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

Anybody an idea what the failure is?

best regards

chris

hi,

the same solution worked on the 803 Router. Thx a lot for your help.

I don't understand the reason, too, but I'm already at a step with IT where I don't want to know all answeres to the whys any more.

ciao.
