The file you mentioned (k9osy6) is the IP/FW PLUS IPSEC 3DES feature set. To copy the IOS from the cd to your router, follow the instructions on this link. Be sure that you copy the file into the default tftp directory. For example, if you are using Cisco's tftp software, the default directory would be under ProgramFiles-Cisco Systems- Cisco TFTP Server.
Depending on what IOS you are currently running, it is possible that you already have the FW/VPN capability. If you are not sure, you can re-post with your show version. The k9osy6 feature set will definitely work for you too.
