We are in the process of ordering a few Cisco 831. I understand that these come with a builtin 4-port switch. Regarding the LAN IP address, do you configure it for one physical Port ? OR Is it a logical interface that includes all 4 Ports ?
Its a 4 port eth switch so you just need to configure the ip address for one eth interface which you see in show run. So it is kind of logical port which is wired with 4 port hub internally.
