We recently acquired new Cisco equipment for our new office building we have Ground plus two floors. The main data center is on first floor and we installed Cisco 4006 series on main data center while on ground and 2nd floor we install Cisco catalyst 2900 series.
We have running win XP, Win 98, Win 2k prof and different OS of Apple Macintosh Mac OS 8 and 9 and on server end we have Unix and windows 2000 Server sp3.
Now the problem is we running Apple Macintosh on both 1st and 2nd floor as I mentioned we using Cisco 4006 on first floor while Cisco 2900 series on 2nd floor, the file sharing and network printing on 2nd floor is running good and working fine while the users connected with Cisco 4006 is not working properly some time users or network printers comes some time not and this behavior is continues
We try one thing for checking purpose add one 3Com switch on first floor beside 4006 that was working fine. So we are just having problems with Apple Macintosh computers not windows base system or Unix base so is there any recommendation?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
