Cisco Catalyst 4506 keeps rebooting from ROMMON prompt

When I try to start de image manualy it works fine.

Switch#dir bootflash:/

Directory of bootflash:/

Switch#sh bootvar

BOOT variable = cat4000-is-mz.121-13.EW.bin,1

CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist

BOOTLDR variable does not exist

Configuration register is 0x102

The bootvariable is set incorrectly. Remove the existing one and add the following statement.

conf t

boot system flash bootflash:cat4000-is-mz.121-13.EW.bin

how do I remove it?

do a sh run. Your incorrect bootvariable should be something like "boot system flash:xxxxx"

Issue a "no boot system flash:xxxxx" from config mode
